E-Learning Student Sign-Up Code of Conduct Agreement

At Sedney Institute, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive online learning environment. By enrolling in our E-Learning programs, all students agree to uphold the following standards of conduct:

1. Academic Integrity

• I will complete my own work and avoid plagiarism, cheating, or any form of dishonesty.

• I will properly acknowledge all sources of information used in assignments, projects, and discussions.

2. Respectful Communication

• I will communicate respectfully with instructors, staff, and fellow students in all online platforms (forums, chats, emails, video calls, etc.).

• I will avoid the use of offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language.

• I will respect diverse opinions, cultures, and perspectives.

3. Responsible Use of Technology

• I will use the learning platform, resources, and tools provided solely for educational purposes.

• I will not share my login details with others or allow unauthorized access to the system.

• I will refrain from posting or distributing inappropriate, harmful, or irrelevant content.

4. Attendance & Participation

• I will log in regularly, attend scheduled online classes, and actively participate in discussions and activities.

• I will submit assignments, projects, and assessments within the given deadlines.

• I will notify my instructor in advance if I anticipate challenges with participation or submission.

5. Professional Conduct

• I will dress and present myself appropriately in live virtual classes.

• I will ensure a quiet and respectful environment during online sessions.

• I will maintain a positive and professional attitude towards learning.

6. Confidentiality & Data Protection

• I will respect the privacy of other students and not share their personal information without consent.

• I will not record, copy, or distribute class materials, lectures, or discussions without authorization from Sedney Institute.

7. Compliance

• I understand that violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or termination of enrollment from Sedney Institute.
