This course introduces learners to the principles and practices of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF). It explains how illegal funds are moved through financial systems and the laws, controls, and systems used to detect and prevent financial crimes. The course is designed to build awareness, compliance knowledge, and practical skills for identifying and reporting suspicious activities. 📘 Course Objectives By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Understand what money laundering and terrorist financing are. Identify the stages, methods, and red flags of money laundering. Understand international and local AML laws and regulations. Apply Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) principles. Recognize suspicious transactions and understand reporting procedures. Understand the roles of employees and institutions in AML compliance.

Sedney Institute – Online Class Booking Policy 1. Purpose of This Policy This policy outlines the guidelines for booking, confirming, rescheduling, and cancelling online classes at Sedney Institute. It ensures an organized, fair, and professional learning experience for all students and instructors. 2. Eligibility for Booking Online classes at Sedney Institute are open to registered users only. Learners under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian consent before enrolling in any paid course. All registration details must be accurate and complete. 3. Class Booking Process To successfully book an online class at Sedney Institute, learners must: Visit the course page on the Sedney Institute website Select a preferred date and time (where available) Fill in the booking form with correct details Make the required payment (if applicable) Wait for a confirmation email or message 📌 A booking is only confirmed after official approval from Sedney Institute. 4. Payment Terms Some classes are free, while others require full or partial payment before access is granted. All payments must be made using Sedney Institute’s approved payment methods only. Course fees are clearly displayed on each course page. Sedney Institute does not accept unofficial or third-party payments. 5. Rescheduling Policy Requests to reschedule a booked class must: Be submitted at least 24 hours before the class starts Be made only once per booking, except under special circumstances Be subject to availability of a new date/time 6. Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellations made 48 hours in advance may qualify for a refund or course credit. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions without prior communication. Refunds are processed according to Sedney Institute’s financial procedures. 7. Late Arrival & Missed Classes Students joining 15 minutes late or more may be marked as absent. Missed sessions without notice will not be rescheduled or refunded. 8. Student Conduct All Sedney Institute learners are expected to: Show respect to instructors and other participants Avoid offensive or disruptive behavior Not record or distribute class content without permission Follow Sedney Institute’s code of conduct Any violation may lead to termination of access without a refund. 9. Technical Requirements It is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they have: Reliable internet connection A working laptop, tablet, or smartphone Access to required platforms (Zoom,Google Meet ,LMS,etc)
