About the Course

  1. Welding Processes: Students will receive instruction in various welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and oxy-fuel welding and cutting. They will learn the principles and applications of each process.

  2. Fabrication Techniques: The program covers basic metal fabrication techniques such as cutting, grinding, bending, and shaping metal using hand tools and machinery. Students will gain proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings to fabricate metal components accurately.

  3. Welding Equipment and Tools: Students will learn to operate and maintain welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, plasma cutters, and various hand tools. They will receive training in selecting the appropriate welding consumables and tools for specific welding tasks.
